Hey people! so yeap, today is yet another day of the EXCO performance rehearsal...NOT!!!!! grrr...
we all didn't manage to rehearse anything because too many people are not around...so we ended up spending the time cleaning up the CG room and re-arranging it! so yea, i just read both my Nippy (jasmineTan) and Jasmine Chung's blog...and i feel that what they said was indeed quite true and saddening...especially whats written on Nippy's...

so yea, i agree with what they said regarding the part on how we as EXCOs are behaving... well, not all of us but the few that soil the reputation of the HLA EXCO. i know that some are not feeling well and all and that's understandable and i advise you to rest plenty! rest well and recover soon alrights??? =) others who are not in Singapore, are working or have camps, its also understandable... :)

but for some others who didn't come cos you don't feel like it and all, well, i feel that its wrong of you to even be in the EXCO! its like...as EXCO, we must show a good example to the juniors as what we are portraying is LEAD BY ACTIONS! but...if we don't take the proper actions,then how can we expect our juniors to be proper??? and when that happens, our juniors wont have the right mentality and if this problem carries on, HLA will eventually collapse and we are the ones who caused it!!! don't say its not our fault as we all have a part to play! We are who we are because we have good seniors who did their part and mould us into leaders but how we want our juniors to be when they take over, we must mould them too! and for some other leaders, we must know when is the right time to do things... yes, i know that we are all leaders now but the performance of some leaders are really... *speechless* they don't know how to BEHAVE!!!!! (fifi's catch phrase) its like...when its time to get serious, they don't get serious...what is this man!?! no matter how small or big our authority is, we are in the EXCO and when we uphold that reputation, we behave like it! Well, most of the EXCOs are alright :) just a few...they have the skills! but whether or not he/she is a good leader depends on how is the leader going to behave and act so yea...thats the decisive factor to whether one is a good leader or not...
yea...so this isn't a lecturing session or whatever and don't be too paranoid and start thinking whether issit you or not... but i just hope that all of us, including myself am able to reflect on ourselves and see what are our weaknesses...i don't mind saying mine! 1) Juniors say that i am not able to be serious 2) I tend to be very serious in the wrong way 3) I don't know how to show that i am serious
so yes, i don't believe in scolding cos that will tarnish the relationship between each other so yea, i hope that all of us can work together and help lower our weaknesses and focus on our strengths yea? As leaders, we will be able to do it! So lets not only do this for ourselves, but also for our juniors and set a good example alrights?
